An Oceanfront Build Progressing at an Impressive Pace

A key element of Kobi Karp’s design for Selene was to highlight the breathtaking oceanfront and cityscape views from every angle. Coastal Construction has executed this with iconic walls of glass and sweeping lines that reflect the beauty of the beach. Floor-to-ceiling windows have been installed on every floor, allowing natural light and transparency to flow throughout the interiors. The exterior is being enhanced with metal cladding, forming graceful arcs reminiscent of a sailboat heading out to sea. Inside, the framing of the residences has reached the penthouse levels, and the drywall is up to the 25th floor in both towers.

Luxury Finishes and Appliances Being Installed

With the exterior structure complete, work has shifted to installing high-quality finishes and appliances inside each of the 194 residences. Porcelain tile, hand-selected from Europe, quartz countertops, and custom Italkraft cabinetry have been laid up to level 18 in both towers. Residents chose from four designer finish packages for their kitchen cabinetry and countertops, allowing each residence to be personalized to reflect individual styles. Appliance installation is well underway as well, with progress made through levels 8 and 9. The top-tier appliance package includes Sub-Zero refrigeration, an Asko dishwasher, and the seamless integration of Wolf’s built-in electric range, paired with a canopy hood, oven, and microwave.

A Grand Arrival Topped with Tropical Splendor

Upon arrival at Selene, residents will be greeted by an exceptional entrance experience. The porte cochère, currently under construction with concrete being poured, will feature a stunning fountain as its centerpiece. Framing is being completed for the prodema ceiling, a wood-based material that will bring a natural, elegant touch to the entry. Under the porte cochère’s shade, 24/7 valet services will be available to handle residents’ vehicles with ease. Additionally, ground-floor planters are being installed around the building, adding a lush, inviting feel. The elevated pool deck will be beautifully landscaped, and the medjool palms are already in place taking advantage of the construction crane schedule.

Kobi Karp’s elevated amenity plaza will connect the two buildings. Waterproofing work is underway for both the sunrise and sunset pools. Once completed, this expansive space will offer residents a 75-foot lap pool, a resort-style pool and spa, and stunning panoramic ocean views. An outdoor kitchen and fire pit lounges will create the perfect setting for evening gatherings, while a dog park with a grooming station offers a space for furry friends to socialize. Inside, Selene will feature The Wave Entertainment Lounge, the Seasons Gathering Lounge, a state-of-the-art Fitness Center, and The Hub business center.
